We’re thrilled to invite you to SYNERGY: A Pilates and Mentorship Retreat— an intimate weekend designed to elevate your personal practice and inspire your teaching. Taking place in beautiful Wilmington, NC, from November 6-8, 2025, this carefully curated experience is limited to just 10 participants, making it truly one of a kind.
Join Amy Havens, Delia Buckmaster, and Carrie Pagès, for a weekend filled with transformative workshops, energizing classes, and meaningful conversations. With a combined 75 years of experience in the Pilates industry, we are thrilled to facilitate a weekend away from your day-to-day tasks and demands—an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, deepen your practice, and build meaningful connections with fellow instructors.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll participate in one-on-one time with one of us as well as carefully crafted workshops that dive deep into movement quality, creative programming, and impactful teaching. You’ll participate in round-robin classes led by Amy, Carrie, and Delia—each teaching a 20-minute segment showcasing their unique approach and teaching style. In addition, we’ll facilitate conversations around meaningful topics like navigating teaching challenges, using social media with purpose, and recognizing the signs of burnout—so you leave feeling supported both personally and professionally.
We’re especially excited about the individualized attention each participant will receive throughout the retreat. In addition to leading their own workshops, Carrie, Amy, and Delia will be fully engaged in each other’s sessions—offering real-time insights, support, and collaboration. You’ll find us actively participating, connecting, and engaging with you throughout the weekend. This is a shared experience built on mutual respect, professional growth, and meaningful interaction. Our goal is to create an environment that feels personal, collaborative, and truly enriching.

5:00 PM EST: Synergy Kickoff Call
This pre-retreat virtual session is designed to create meaningful connections and set the tone for the Synergy Retreat. We’ll get to know one another during this online gathering and prepare for the exciting experience ahead. We’ll discuss what you’re most looking forward to and review important details to ensure you’re fully prepared to make the most of your time with us.
The Retreat
Thursday, November 6, 2025:
10:00 am-4:00 pm: One-On-One Sessions:
Each participant will receive a two-hour one-on-one session with Amy, Delia, or Carrie. Click here to register for Synergy and schedule your individual session time. You can use your time however it serves you best—enjoy a full two-hour workout, dive deep into mentoring and discussion, or split your session with one hour of each. It’s completely up to you!
5:00 – 7:00 PM: Dinner at Covey
Join us for an inspiring roundtable dinner where we will connect over meaningful discussions. In Covey’s private dining space, we’ll explore topics like studio ownership, social media strategies, avoiding burnout, and deepening personal practice. This is a great opportunity to share insights, discuss challenges, and gain fresh perspectives on teaching, business growth, and work-life balance.
Attendees are responsible for their meal and drink costs for this event.
Friday, November 7, 2025:
11 AM-12 PM: SYNERGY WORKOUT
Join Amy, Carrie, and Delia as they take you through a dynamic round-robin session, where each instructor brings their unique style and expertise to the mat.
12 PM-2 PM: BALANCE IS KEY with Amy
As Pilates teachers, we often weave balance training into our client sessions and class programming. In this workshop, we’ll explore both dynamic and static balance techniques while introducing the importance of vestibular ocular reflexes (VORs)—what they are, how they work, and why they’re essential to incorporate into your teaching. We’ll also examine the connection between our body’s balance systems and our overall vitality, and how integrating this awareness can enhance quality of movement and support a long, healthy life.
2 PM-2:30 PM: Break
2:30 PM-4:30 PM: CREATIVE VARIATIONS & ATHLETIC REFORMER FLOW with Carrie
This workshop explores inventive reformer variations and athletic flow sequences designed to keep your teaching fresh and fun while honoring the integrity of the method. Expect layered progressions, seamless transitions, and practical strategies you can immediately apply to both private sessions and group classes.
4:45 PM-6:45 PM: ANATOMY-BASED TEACHING MADE SIMPLE with Delia
This 2-hour workshop is designed to enhance your teaching with anatomy-informed language, without getting lost in technical jargon. You’ll learn how to observe movement through a sharper, anatomy-based lens and apply that insight to create cues that are simple, effective, and easy for clients to understand. Whether you’re looking to refine your cueing, support better movement outcomes, or simply bring more clarity to your teaching, this workshop will give you the tools to do just that, with confidence and ease.
Saturday, November 8, 2025:

12 PM-2 PM: POWER IN THE PAUSE with Amy
The space in between—the breath—and the power it holds for both connection and release. This workshop invites you to experience the significance of both the inhale and the exhale, exploring the deep core muscles involved in each phase and why paying closer attention to the breath truly matters. Through breath, we access internal awareness that can ease lower back pain, support restoration, and reconnect us to the essence of who we are. This is your invitation to pause and feel the power in it.
2 PM-2:30 PM: Break
2:30 PM-4:30 PM: STRENGTH & FLOW: DYNAMIC TOWER SEQUENCING with Carrie
This workshop is all about combining power and precision with fun, creative Tower flows. You’ll explore dynamic sequences that challenge strength, stability, and control—while keeping the movement smooth, engaging, and accessible. You’ll walk away with fresh choreography, purposeful transitions, and cues that will inspire your teaching and keep your clients moving with strength and intention.
4:45 PM-6:45 PM: REFORMER FOUNDATIONS REIMAGINED with Delia
Revisit the foundations and deepen your understanding of Level I reformer work. Explore how to extract more power, precision, and presence from the “basics,” using intelligent cueing, progressive layering, and subtle technique upgrades. Perfect for those looking to sharpen their teaching, challenge their own practice, and reconnect with the brilliance of foundational movement.
6:45 PM-7:15 PM: RETREAT WRAP UP: REFLECTION AND INTENTION SETTING
We’ll close our time together with a quiet, grounding moment to reflect on what you’ve experienced, learned, and felt throughout the retreat. This final session offers space to integrate your takeaways and set personal intentions for how you’ll carry them forward into your teaching, your practice, and your life. It’s a gentle, meaningful way to end the weekend—centered, connected, and clear.
Post-Retreat Follow-Up Call
To be scheduled within 4 weeks after the retreat.
As a special post-retreat bonus, each participant will receive a one-hour follow-up Zoom session with the same instructor they worked with during their in-person one-on-one session in Wilmington—Carrie, Delia, or Amy.
